Who is entitled to a reduced ticket?

Reduced ticket prices differ for each exhibition or event. Please check the respective visit page for the exhibition or event you would like to attend for more information on reduced ticket prices.

Reduced tickets for exhibitions are available for students aged 18 years and over (free entry for visitors under 18), apprentices, retirees, ‘berlinpass’-holders, people with disabilities and Berlin-based artists upon presentation of relevant identification – students aged 18 years and over must present their student card. If you are a person with disabilities, please provide a 'Schwerbehindertenausweis B' or an international equivalent pass. Berlin-based artists should show their KSK-Membership (Künstlersozialkasse) document.

Who gets free admission?

Free admission to our exhibitions is available to visitors under the age of 18, ICOM-card and press card holders. Persons accompanying German 'Schwerbehindertenausweis B' (or international equivalents) holders are entitled to a free ticket. Including the neighbourhood and local partner institutions is important to us, which is why we send out special invitations and offer a free ticket for direct neighbours.

Please note that this only applies to some of our exhibitions and events. We therefore ask you to check the ticket pages of the event that you would like to attend for further information.

Which payment methods will be accepted?

Why can’t I select a date or time slot?

If you are not able to select dates or time slots, it means those options are already fully booked.
