Life After BOB: TRUE NAME NFT
Together with LAS, Cheng produced a bespoke NFT experience, which generated personalised prompts to guide visitors through the exhibition.
The Life After BOB: TRUE NAME NFT experience was developed for the exhibition and accessible on site at Halle am Berghain. Designed to engage audiences in the existential themes of the film Life After BOB: The Chalice Study, each NFT is unique and personalized for each guest. TRUE NAME generated a potent personal injunction based on information provided upon entering the exhibition. Visitors could collect their TRUE NAME NFT in the store on the ground floor of Halle am Berghain, where they could set up a wallet on a smartphone device through a simple social platform login, with no financial contribution needed. If you did not do so on site you can also claim your NFT after your visit by scanning the QR code on your wristband.
How to mint your NFT
Step 1
To preview your unique TRUE NAME NFT, scan the QR code on your wristband.
Step 2
To claim your NFT you will need a Tezos wallet. Click on “Create Wallet” to visit kukai.app and set up a free wallet.
Step 3
Once you have your wallet ready, click on “Mint now” and save your unique TRUE NAME NFT in your wallet.
*For minting the NFTs, LAS has chosen Tezos, a decentralized and open-source blockchain, known for its energy-efficient proof-of-stake design. The NFTs are stored on the Tezos blockchain and can be traded with Tez (XTZ).
